We provide tuition in History, Geography, Business Management, Economics and, RMPS.

History, Geography and Modern Studies encourage you to challenge general assumptions about the world – both past and present – by providing you with the skills to discuss and analyse different places, people, and processes (be they political, social, or economic). In Modern Studies, you might compare political systems in the UK versus the USA; in History, you might consider Marx’s theory on the transition from feudalism to capitalism; while in Geography, you might critique China as a neo-feudal state.

If the Brexit vote, the Trump election, and geopolitical change in the Middle East have taught us anything, it is that the world is constantly changing – we cannot know what 2050 will look like. But since the humanities enable us to learn about the development of different countries across historical moments, we can offer predictions – from sea levels to population growth.
